The importance of using organic products containing natural elements is often underestimated, even though it is essential. We don’t have to forget that organic product have stood the test of time; many current components have been used since the dawn of time, developed from ancient remedies that have been known for their incredible benefits for our bodies – and there is no better test than time. Natural products are also kinder to our skin and you can enjoy them guilt-free without harming the surrounding plants and animals.

THIS PLACE

“This Place” immediately attracted our attention with a really novel and well thought-out concept. Beside specializing in the use of premium Cannabidiol, well known as CBD, in skincare, which turns out to be having an amazing effect with its healing properties and serious antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits, while treating skin concerns like inflammation, dryness and free radical damage,

This Place also works around women’s cycle and the need off their skin in different periods of the month. We are fully in love with their starting kit called “Meet you where you are”, which includes The Hug cream meant to support women’s skin needs during the time they are menstruating, The Glow Night with botanical Melatonin for a good night sleep, The Glow cream with anti-inflammatory properties and the Blissful Day, meant to soothe muscle pain.

This Place also highlights the importance of the ritual of skincare, meant to slow down time and help you focus on your senses, while connecting with your feelings and emotions too.

The concept of wellness is not new, but in the past two years we’ve witnessed a lot more wellness innovation trends and brands emerging, than in the last ten years. Ever since the global pandemic started, just like any other business, the wellness industry was forced to reinvent itself, to innovate and adapt to the individual needs, creating a more personalised and targeted, but also broader plan for the consumer. At the same time consumers started viewing wellness through a much more sophisticated lens, encompassing not just fitness and nutrition, but overall physical and mental health and appearance. Since Mums in Heels cares a lot about wellness for women and families, which for us includes finding inner peace, balance and harmony, reconnecting with your most authentic self, we decided to dedicate today’s post on Wellness Innovation Trends and sustainability. This is especially important to us in a time when the world seems extremely polarised and so many people feel that nobody listens or cares about their personal needs.

For Mums in  Heels wellness means taking a break from the long to-do lists, from the digital space, from all the responsibilities and duties and creating a sacred space to nurture the connection with the inner self.

For many people the pandemic was a reminder that nothing is more valuable than your own health and well-being. And yet How do you define Wellness?

For Mums in  Heels wellness means a lot of things, such as better health, better nutrition and fitness, but also better mental health and brain health, resilience, creativity, better sleep and mindfulness and finally feeling good with yourself.

If this list overwhelms most of you and you don’t know where to start, or what part should be your priority, our suggestion is to start building small rituals in your daily life that make you feel good. Rituals can be different. They may look very simple and innocent, but they all have a long-term effect on your wellbeing. From facial massage every morning to practicing breath control or making a green juice to start your day, committing to weekly infrared saunas, intermittent fasting or a nutrition plant to repair your hippocampus.

Rituals are very powerful when it comes to introducing a positive change and new habits that can eventually lead to a change of the way you think and perceive reality.

Practicing self-care cannot be overwhelming or yet another task on your to-do list. It should bring you peace and inner calm until it becomes an essential part of your day. Try simple things like lighting a scented candle, soaking in a warm bath and relaxing with a calming face mask to give your skin some glow.

And since we don’t want to overwhelm you with lost of information in this post, we’ve decided the divide the topic of Wellness Innovation Trends in several chapters.

Today for example we will share with you some of our favourite most innovative and sustainable brands in the beauty and wellness industry.

In the next blogpost you will learn the latest tips and bio hacks in nutrition and supplements.

Finally before the end of this year we will share one more article dedicated on how to boost your brain health and switch its ability to upgrade itself! It is an exciting topic we’ve been researching for a while now and soon we are going to share the best kept secrets with you! So Stay tuned.
