Watermelon bliss

Feasting my eyes on the abundance of fresh fruit at the market stalls every weekend, I’ve been thrown in some summer daydreaming of watermelon daiquiries and apricot almond tarts with whipped cream. In general the watermelon and apricot mood has affected and spread all over my kitchen interior and my wardrobe as well. Take a look:
The benefits of watermelons are many, but may be the best is that it is a delicious thirst quencher and a chic drink to serve for your friends and at a party. I love this handblown glass drink dispenser from Provisions by Food52

As for my favourite snack this summer I find that apricots are not so sweet, but quite filling. Not to mention they are a good source of VitA (beta-carotene), VitC and potassium.
