The Glow of the Fall

By |Published On: October 15th, 2014|

Ever since I’ve arrived in Switzerland I kind of feel I am always overdressed, almost on every occasion. I call it the East-European-girl syndrome. No matter how I’ve tried casual, it doesn’t work on me, even in my ripped jeans. I’ve developed a chronic feeling of being a little bit out of it, honestly – I think I am doing ok, but to everyone else it looks like I am doing better than the others. Well, perhaps I am just not fit for the Swiss lifestyle. So I made peace with it. My goal is not to fit or to be like others. It is also NOT about being perfect. It is about feeling ok with my averageness.

So this Fall I’ve seriously decided to indulge in some special colours, because I’ve realized it is not only the fabrics that can make me feel warm and cosy. Besides the desire to snuggle in these colours is an obvious reflection of the season’s glow and abundance.
