On meeting the 100% perfect
It does take some time and a certain amount of living to know that happiness has nothing to do with a certain place or a certain pair of shoes (I can’t believe I just said that in my Fashion Blog).
Ok there are a few exceptions and it could be that we are talking about New York and a pair of Isabel Marant booties. About the booties – I am working on it (read placing hint or not so hint notes in husband’s pockets, besides I so much deserve them) and as for the place, I’ve been there, I’ve done that. The thing is I chose not to stay in NY. Yes, I must have been mad but here comes my point and I realize it is not much of a fashion topic except … (bear with me).
Remember after a certain amount of living you learn to choose and prioritize. You learn what has more meaning to you when you have to make a choice. Of course you will never know what would have happened if you chose another, but still you need to be brave. By the way, have you read that story On seeing the 100% perfect girl one beautiful April morning by Haruki Murakami? If not you should not miss it.
My point, finally, is about seventeens again? Remember how we danced all through the night and ….
And we held each other tight
And before too long I fell in love
Well my heart went boom
When I crossed that room;
And I held his hand in mine. I was just thinking about those moments and I felt happy about my choices. See the video here.
