Marant under the stars

Just as most of us seem to have a favourite song or a book which speaks to us personally, we also tend to choose one fashion designer who appears to understand all our body issues and owns The magic wand that can transform us into the woman we always wanted to be (at least in our own eyes).
My question indeed is who’s your style Godmother then? In what clothes do you feel at best?

When it comes to my Fashion Godmother, without even thinking or choosing that intentionally, she is French. In fact she is une Femme Parisienne, whose collections I often celebrate (buying a new dress is an excellent excuse to go out and drink loads of champagne) for their cool and nonchalant attitude, the minimalistic spirit and the non-trendy charming carelessness behind them. One more thing – I can do everything in her dresses – play with the kids, drink wine or bake a cake on a whim.
