Knock, knock, who’s there?

By |Published On: July 29th, 2014|

It’s been an exceptionally rainy July this year and despite that I thought it will make me miserable (I am also kind of skipping the summer holiday this year, staying home with my new born), I actually enjoy the humid rainy days a lot. It is simple. I’ve created a project for myself – rediscovering old favourite pieces in my closet.
So, I still try to wear my summer clothes, but I add one of my jackets or blazers styled up with a favourite scarf and a kinky brooch. Summer boots are also a great idea. So that’s how I came up with the idea to start a whole series of rainy summer outfits that can make you think of some piece you’ve forgotten long time ago at the back of your wardrobe (you know, one of those pieces you don’t dare getting rid of every time you do a major wardrobe detox)…

Gucci Leather jacket (poor thing almost forgotten for years)
Chie Mihara shoes (most worn piece in my closet for the past two years)
Basic Zara T-shirt
Light summer sweater by Mango (from two seasons ago)
