Having spent hours observing Laurence in different situations and with different people I can say she doesn’t like anything that implies putting any effort into being pretty. She seems unfazed by dictates by what is appropriate for a certain time of day or for a woman of a certain age. She seems confident of her sartorial decisions be it a cocktail dress with a leather jacket, a bib overall with high heels and a chunky piece of jewelry or a pair of chic black pants with worn out sneakers and simple t-shirt. I’d sum up her style as carefully curated to look absolutely effortless.
