Fashion Games

By |Published On: January 29th, 2015|

Did you notice today that the sun went down behind the white powdered hills about an hour late?

I have to admit, I can love winter, chunky and oversized only till Christmas and then on weekends when it’s ski time. But these days I’ve been feeling the mild seasonal depression crawling on me. I know blogs are all about making you feel good, but I just can’t help it these days and I risk having to stop publishing my blog for the winter months if I had to only talk about how well I feel and how much party there is going on.

So let’s say I am on a pit stop from my usual elation and girls-wanna-have-fun blogging. And as it happens (no time for cool books and movies or long analytical conversations with friends), I find some buzz in playing fashion games even when only on the premises of my own place or when I am out with the kids to buy bread.

So today (in our family apartment with a romance-promising view), I wore a practically free pair of knee high leather boots, that I bought on sale at Zara, with my absolutely favourite spring skirt from Band of Outsiders and an old gray jumper. The day suddenly looked brighter while I watched the sun go down over the lake and the painting on the wall spoke to me again that afternoon. It’s not the weather or the season that matter, it is the time you spend with your favourite people. Or so it should be.
