Breast cancer is preventable but women need to know their body and be aware of the risks. “This is one of the many reasons why we are doing the mad Charity Action featuring ten photo posters in our Art Gallery on Zweierstrasse 22 in Zurich”, says Myriam Grubenmann from Mad Hairstyling. This is the third year for the initiative which aims to increase the awareness of Breast cancer prevention by raising money and supporting projects of the Krebsliga in Canton Zurich. Despite that the Vernisage of the exhibition was two weeks ago, people can still buy some of the photo posters and support the breast cancer prevention cause on the day of the finnisage of the exhibition – the 16th of March. 40% of every poster sale is going for charity. The prices of the images are from CHF 460 – CHF 1200. All pictures are unique and made for the mad CHARITY exhibition.

TOO MUCH OF EVERYTHING

“This photo is the antithesis of everything that cancer represents – suffering and sadness. It is supposed to cheer up and add some joy and marvel into the lives of those affected by cancer”, says Ellin Anderegg, the curator of the exhibition who is as well one of the models featured in the mad Charity Auction.
