City Gal Shoe Update

By |Published On: June 2nd, 2016|

Despite that our editor just bought the most chic pair of glitter sneakers we’ve ever tried on, we need to whisper in your ears that in the city or not you will have to get yourself quickly a pair of offbeat cowboy boots. You might have taken notice looking at the fashion world around (even in Switzerland – reference last Friday Magazine) that  cowgirl boots are back and there’s not much to upgrade about them so if you have a pair, take it out and wear it with your cotton embroidered and tasseled turban or dress. Here are a few more suggestions we pulled out last minuet for you (the boots are somehow quite relevant considering the weather outside).

Summer look cowboy boots and volon bag with Doddo bar embroidered cotton

Our favourite combo with ankle cowboy boot from Zara, Volon bag and Dodo Bar embroidered cotton maxi dress. The boots you can wear as well with a mini skirt, Aztec embellished, for a more daring look.

Summer outfit 2 Tibi, Asos A-line skirt and Toga Pulla boots

The embroidered denim is another big trend this season, from florals to pop art patchwork we see it everywhere. Not that we have to be necessarily like everyone else, but it looks pretty and insouciant, perfect for the summer mood. Despite that denim and cowboy boots might look too ranch, if you choose the right kind of boots and wear them with the right attitude, a crisp white shirt or off the shoulder embroidered cotton blouse and tailored trousers then you will look urban enough. , Our favourite choice this season are the suede buckle boots from Toga Pulla, skirt Asos, blouse TIBI.

Summer look 3

This look is all about the boots and all about what you wear them with. So how to pull them off and look fashion forward instead of a reminiscence of a Western movie character. We suggest if you are in the city to better skip wearing a cowboy hat or anything gingham. Instead choose tailored white trousers or even white denim and pair it with an elegant blouse without too much jewellery or additional embroidery.

And have fun!
