Behind the grand scene of fashion
It’s been a busy weekend for the Zurich fashion crowd and the vogue scene has been buzzing with excitement around the launch of the first printed issue of NUICONS and the third edition of the Fashion Hotel Edition in Zurich.
I don’t know how it felt for those who visited for a day, but for the people who spent three days at the hotel it started feeling like home and as if we all belonged to one tribe and spoke one language. In other words it became a little more whacked…We all felt close and as if one family was having a reunion.
The Fashion Hotel opened on Friday night with an open-air loud and extravagant show where models were wearing a selection of the brands featured in at the Fashion Hotel. The stylists behind the show were the people behind the newly released NUICONS magazine who later met the fashion crowd on the first floor to introduce their team and the magazine to their readers.
This year the fashion Hotel did not only feature Swiss brands, but several International labels too, among which were Liebeskind, Lulu Lemon, Tony and Guy and Blond and Bieber. A special attention has been put on Francesco Rossi and his bags made of recycled plastic bottles. Several other favourites for me were Milk Copenhagen, the Swiss-Colombian fashion label Jungle Folk, the concept online store the Backyard, Cityscape Fashion and Mary Kay cosmetics.
To wrap it up the crowd has been high on fashion for several days and we all have been part of an amazing experience with some hot music and rubbing shoulders with the most fashionable people of Zurich. Let’s hope we can try this again next season.
